I was going to, but now...

I was going to change my blog, but now Mother had a fantastic idea!  Mother, Sarah, and I are all going to start a blog together and we will no longer post on this one.  The title is: andgracewilleadmehome.blogspot.com
Thanks for being patient,

New Blog?

With the new year, I wish to be starting a "new" blog.  It will actually just be this one...with a new name.

I know, I know, but I can't resist!  I just want to change the name and website name.  I know I've already done it once, but now I want to do it just one more time.  Hey, I might even have this blog when I'm old...and I want it to be a blog worth having.
So, here is the new title: graciouslykeepme.blogspot.com
I posted it on here early so that no one will be startled when they see that this blog is gone!
Merry Christmas!

Since my books are pretty hard...

1)  In the meantime, he was strengthening his own faction in the kingdom, of which he proposed to dispute the succession, in case of the kings death, with the legitimate heir, Arthur, Duke of Brittany, son of Geoffrey Plantagenet, the elder brother of John.

^This one is already confirmed to be Ivanhoe^

2)  It stuck in his trunk.

^This one's title has the name of a great Bible man in it^

3) (As this one was going to be a rather hard, 'No!, I decided to add half of the next sentence for help) 'No!  I only thought it seemed rather unfair,' said ????, gently; but she did not end her sentence,

^This one's title is the name of a girl in the Bible^

4)  He did not do this as a physician, however; and for this distemper "only thou canst heal, who resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble".

^No hint for this one; it's already too easy^

5)  His idea of luxury was to spend a night in such surroundings.

^This one features a cat as well as the mouse^

6)  "They're going to finally let you out of here?"

^This one was made into a movie^

7)  My sister and I went out to greet them and my father and mother took the girl inside.

^Come on!!^ (just the name of the indian woman would do)

8)  There, I found my mother, very pale and with red eyes; into whose arms I ran, and begged her pardon from my suffering soul.

^Already confirmed to be David Copperfield^

9) He looked at me again and smiled.

^Sarah??^

10) But Miss B- thought it most becoming to reply-- "The avenue!

^Yes, this is Mansfield Park^

Tagged...

Although I've been tagged for a while, I have kind of just let it hang in mid-air, waiting to be put up on my blog.  I could give a lot of silly excuses for why I haven't been blogging and I could almost truthfully say that I haven't felt like blogging recently, but the real reason for my blog-abscence is because I have been pretty sick with a cold.  I'm still a little icky feeling, but I really wanted to do the tag that the Bessingers, Anika-q, Noah, Sarah, and a few others did.

So, without further ado, here goes:

1)  In the meantime, he was strengthening his own faction in the kingdom, of which he proposed to dispute the succession, in case of the kings death, with the legitimate heir, Arthur, Duke of Brittany, son of Geoffrey Plantagenet, the elder brother of John.

2)  It stuck in his trunk.

3) (As this one was going to be a rather hard, 'No!, I decided to add half of the next sentence for help) 'No!  I only thought it seemed rather unfair,' said ????, gently; but she did not end her sentence,

4)  He did not do this as a physician, however; and for this distemper "only thou canst heal, who resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble".

5)  His idea of luxury was to spend a night in such surroundings.

6)  "They're going to finally let you out of here?"

7)  My sister and I went out to greet them and my father and mother took the girl inside.

8)  There, I found my mother, very pale and with red eyes; into whose arms I ran, and begged her pardon from my suffering soul.

9) He looked at me again and smiled.

10) But Miss B- thought it most becoming to reply-- "The avenue!

Hints:

1)  7 of these are by foreign authors, six British, one Welsh.

2)  2 was the first of many adventure novels.

3)  Yes, some were written by Dickens or Austen

4)  5 is speaking of a mouse

5)  7 was narrarated by the most famous Indian woman
